STYLING BAND TEES | fashion

We all own at least one band tee! Whether you bought one at a concert, or you found a cool vintage-looking one at a department store. I have TONS. I found them a great styling piece for times when I have 'nothing to wear', but they are also super comfortable for cozy days when you just want to wear yoga pants and do nothing.

I took two different band tees for this post - a Rolling Stones one and a Ramones tee (because almost everyone owns this iconic band tee) and I created some fun and easy styles that anyone can re-create in their own way. I tried to do a few fun ones, and also a couple that I think would work for some* places of work (you know, if you work in a cool office that promotes style/casual wear and only wants you to dress like a cog in the machine haha).

OUTFIT ONE

You have probably seen this skirt a few times if you have been following me for a while. I love it - I've owned it for almost 10 years now and i bought it at a random boutique in Peterborough, Ontario. Here is a similar one, though it's not the same colour combination. Heels: Aldo, similar.

OUTFIT TWO

Skirt: Zara (similar), Heels: Call It Spring, similar here.

OUTFIT THREE

Tuxedo pants: Consignment find - I don't even know the brand because the tag is missing, but they seem high end - similar here and here. Heels: Call It Spring, similar here.

OUTFIT FOUR

Blazer H&M, similar here. Jeans: Zara. Heels: Call It Spring, similar here.

and for good measure...OUTFIT 5

Fringed Jacket: Club Monaco (consignment find), THIS JACKET is the closest I could find to a similar option that doesn't break the bank. Jeans: Zara, Heels: Steve Madden.
