KAFTAN 4 WAYS | fashion

Since we are basically on lockdown - I haven't been going anywhere these days. So I'm not getting ready as often as I was before. With this in mind, there's a temporary hiatus on my 'what I wore last week' posts, and instead I'm going to try and style things differently for you. Focusing less on buying a lot of new things, but focusing on pieces you might already have that can be styled in different ways!

I bought this beautiful green, button-down kaftan from H&M last year after Huxley was born. I wanted to get some family photos done, but nothing fit me in my closet and my incision was sore. I needed something cute and comfortable. A kaftan was the answer. Sure, these could also be considered a bathing suit cover up or a mumu - but to me, it's an amazing piece to have in your closet.

Click for the kaftan I'm wearing in this post (it's the exact same, except mine has a very subtle pattern) It's under $40 CAD!!!

My fedora is from Yellow108 - the colour is awesome and it can make a boring outfit look great! These hats are worth the money in my opinion.

Here are 4 ways I styled my kaftan:

As is! This look is great for pool parties and summer get-togethers!

This is a great casual look! Perfect for meeting friends for lunch or drinks and other casual events.

Dress: Zara (not available right now - but they have them every summer. Similar here), Shoes: Winners (similar here)

Another great look for a casual outing. You could swap sneakers for a cute pair of flats to dress it up more.

Tank: Joe Fresh (similar), Jeans: Zara, Shoes: Call It Spring (similar here)

Got a concert or festival to go to? This is such an easy look to put together and it looks so great! (Not sure if we will get to attend any concerts or festivals this year - but hey, it's good to be prepared!)

Tank: Joe Fresh (similar), Shorts: H&M (similar here), Boots: I got them in Nashville, but I love this pair, this pair and this pair!)
