I love a blue and white striped button down. I think it's so fun to style because anything goes. Keep it simple and casual with a pair of flats like I did in this post, style it with a pair of flashy heels to create a juxtaposing look or dress it up with a pair of trousers and stilettos for work. It's the perfect transition piece you can own. I love traveling with a striped button down because it comes in handy when you encounter weather that can't make up it's mind.
I somehow manage to score this Ralph Lauren button down with the oversized polo logo. I did my best to locate one for your guys, but I couldn't! I have some similar ones linked for this post though. It made for such a class look. The shoes I paired with this outfit are actually Ann Taylor. I probably wouldn't have considered going to Ann Taylor if I didn't have a gift card. It's mainly expensive work-wear for what I would consider a 40+ crowd. But these slides. OH MY GOD. The most comfortable and stylish ever. I managed to snag these on sale just after Christmas, but I would seriously buy them again full price because they are perfect. I could walk miles in the babies and never complain.
Bryon and I went to my family's home in Prince Edward County on the weekend. Usually in the summer I try to go every weekend and Bryon comes when he isn't on call. It's just so nice and relaxing there. We have the beach, TONS of breweries, restaurants and wineries. It makes staying in Toronto really difficult.
I hope you found some inspiration from this post and I'm so excited to finally start doing outfit posts again!!
