CHRISTMAS IN TORONTO | weekend post cards

Nathan Phillips Square Christmas Fair

Who else is feeling the stress of the holidays! Last week was an absolutely whirl wind for both Bryon and I. Bryon was studying for a huge medical exam and I had four Christmas parties!! This week is a little less crazy, although we do have a holiday party for Sunnybrook Hospital (for ophthalmology). There's only two weeks left until Christmas and I still have a little bit of shopping to do. Yikes!

I have been in the Christmas spirit for a few weeks now, but now that Bryon doesn't have as much studying to do, he can participate in more of the festivities! We already went to The Distillery for the Toronto Christmas Market, but we also like to go to Hudson's Bay to see the holiday windows and go skating at Nathan Phillips Square. It was pretty cold this weekend, and on Sunday after B got home from hockey we went to see the window displays and the Holiday Fair at Nathan Phillips Square (we skipped skating for now). The Holiday Fair is a new thing at Nathan Phillips Square but it was still really cool. There were colourful Christmas trees all over and I thought they were super cute. After we went home and watched Home Alone and Home Alone 2 with rum and eggnog :)

I had a party Friday and Saturday night so the weekend was pretty busy. I'll be heading to Prince Edward County for Christmas on the 22nd and I'm looking forward to relaxing completely. I cannot wait for my upcoming trip at the end of the month!!!

Have a good week
